Duties & Responsibilities

In championing this role, your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Review client tax returns & financial statements
  • Prepare client Corporate & Tax Structures Analysis (CTS) using proprietary software & processes.
  • Prepare client Strategic Asset Allocation Analysis (SAA)using proprietary software & processes.
  • Prepare client Finance & Cashflow Analysis (FCA) using proprietary software & processes.
  • Prepare client Gearing Analysis using proprietary software & processes
  • Prepare client Risk Insurance Analysis (RIA) using proprietary software & processes
  • Prepare client Risk Insurance quotes using industry software
  • Prepare client Product Reviews using proprietary software & processes
  • Prepare client Financial Review Reports (FRR) using developed templates
  • Prepare client Statement of Advice (SOA/ROA) using developed templates
  • Articulate complex strategies and prepare executive summaries to highlight issues, recommendations & benefits
  • Ongoing development of templates and analytical tools
  • Ongoing workflow process development & improvement using in-house proprietary software platforms
  • Responsible for all aspects of technical development in conjunction with Company Directors and Technical Manager
  • Ongoing strategy & product research as required
  • Ongoing input to Investment Committee
  • Maintain operational compliance about advice documents in conjunction with Compliance Director
  • Collect client data
  • Implement strategies and products
  • Prepare and implement client engagements and agreements.

 

Education & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will have completed the following;

  • Degree qualification (BCom or BEcon)
  • Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning (ADFP)
  • CFP accreditation (preferable)
  • Recognised SMSF course

 

Experience & Attributes

To be considered for this role, you will need to have gained the following experience;

  • At least 3 years of technical paraplanning experience
  • Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge regarding asset allocation, risk tolerance, gearing, accounting, taxation and tax structures, personal insurance options, retail super & SMSF and finance
  • Strong understanding of tax planning strategies for individuals with trusts, companies, partnerships & SMSF
  • Good understanding of sophisticated investments
  • A good understanding of retail & commercial lending is preferable
  • Highly Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Highly Advanced skills in MS Word
  • Experience using workflow management systems
  • Experience using risk insurance quoting software
