Make person-centred support concrete

Instead of listing empathy alone, describe how you listened, explained an activity or adapted your communication to a person's needs. An example might show how you passed on a preference that helped colleagues provide more consistent support. Keep names, health records and identifying circumstances out of the application.

Use outcomes you can support. A completed handover or improved activity participation differs from a clinical improvement. Do not invent satisfaction scores or claim responsibility for a person's recovery. Explain what you personally did and what you observed.

Writing a resume with placement experience

List the placement setting, dates and supervised tasks, with hours if accurate and useful. Describe what you practised and the feedback you acted on. Keep training, volunteering and paid employment labelled separately.
