Further criteria you need to satisfy, depending on the job requirements, may include volunteering at your local animal rescue organisation or veterinary clinic to gain on-the-job experience, completing a traineeship, Certificate II in Animal Care (ACM20117) or a Certificate III in Captive Animals (ACM30317) through TAFE or a registered training organisation.
