Due to the high volume of applications for a Marine Surveyor received every year, qualifications that would increase your chances of landing an interview include a Certificate III in Maritime Operations (Marine Surveying) (MAR30215), Certificate IV in Maritime Operations (Marine Surveying) (MAR40115) or Diploma of Maritime Operations (Marine Surveying) (MAR50215). You’ll also need to gain accreditation through the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
