Group skills by use: interface design, prototyping, content layout and any implementation work you performed. Add your actual qualification or course, provider and completion status. Do not present a short introduction to a tool as advanced professional proficiency.

Choose portfolio evidence that supports the application

Select a few relevant projects rather than linking to every exercise. For each, explain the problem, constraints, your role, the decisions you made and the result. Check that the link opens without an account and works on a phone. If the live site has changed since your involvement, use an approved case study to explain your contribution.

• Client work: get permission before sharing designs, research or results.
• Team work: distinguish your design work from research, copywriting and coding completed by others.
• Personal projects: label them clearly; a concept redesign is not a commissioned client result.
• Accessibility: describe the checks you performed rather than claiming full compliance from a single automated score.

Use outcomes you can explain

If a redesign improved a metric, state the measure, comparison period and source. A conversion increase may also reflect pricing, traffic or campaign changes. Where attribution is unclear, describe the observed change and your contribution without claiming sole credit. When no reliable metric exists, explain a resolved usability issue, clearer handover or documented design decision.

For example, replace “created amazing websites” with “reworked the booking-page layout after reviewers struggled to find appointment information, then checked the revised prototype with the project team.” Use this structure with your own facts.
