An LVN resume for a continuous-care role should show your actual nursing responsibilities, the setting you worked in and how you communicated with the supervising team. Include accurate licensing and training information, then use specific examples of documentation, handover and patient or family communication.
Licensed vocational nurse is a US role title. Do not assume that an LVN qualification gives you Australian nursing registration. If applying in Australia, check the NMBA requirements for internationally qualified nurses and describe your current status accurately.

Keep the resume specific to continuous care
Explain the service setting and your responsibilities across a shift. For home-based work, relevant evidence may include following visit arrangements, maintaining records and communicating with the wider team. For another setting, choose examples from that environment. Do not add home-care experience simply because it appears in a sample.
Use the employer's terminology where it describes your real experience. Equipment, systems and clinical tasks should reflect what you are trained and authorised to do. A general list of nursing duties does not establish competency.
Writing an LVN resume as a new graduate
Place your education, current licensing status and relevant placements where the reader can find them easily. Label student experience and supervision clearly. Use examples of communication, following instructions and reliable documentation from your actual training.
If you do not yet meet a stated requirement, describe your position truthfully. Do not change your title or claim a licence you have not received.
Use evidence without exposing private information
Describe your own actions without patient names, identifying circumstances or copied clinical records. Use numbers only when accurate and permitted to share. Avoid claiming responsibility for an entire care team's outcomes.
